VOLUNTEERS

The Rotary Henley on Todd Regatta has been successfully managed by the combined efforts of the Rotary Clubs of Alice Springs and its dedicated volunteers for over six decades.

Although some responsibilities, like bar service, require training and accreditation, many do not. Our Team Leaders will ensure that all volunteers are competent to perform their duties and provide training and briefings as necessary.

Volunteering at the Rotary Henley on Todd Regatta provides a variety of benefits, including the opportunity to participate in an iconic event that has been thriving for 60 years. It is also a great way to meet new people and acquire new skills.

All volunteers will receive:

  •  An exclusive “crew” Volunteers shirt, so you are easily identified on the day, and yours to keep
  • Food and drinks. We will keep you well fed and watered during your shift
  • Free entry to the Regatta before or after your shift, to enjoy the day’s activities

What we require from our Volunteers:

  • Be willing to attend at your rostered time and undertake the entire shift
  • Work with your supervisors and other volunteers
  • Be willing to interact with the General Public and our event patrons
  • Be adaptable to a busy and constantly changing environment
  • Be willing to work as part of the Regatta team to deliver our iconic event
